Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp

The private island sactuary can be accessed by boat or by

driving across the narrow, swampy path from the Sanctuary Farm.

It's one of the few places in the Rift Valley where you can

walk among giraffes, zebras, water bugs, impalas and a multitude of bird species.

Lucky visitors might even be able to

spot a leopard, but don't count on it.

Island walks, guided by a guide,

last between 90 minutes and 3 hours.

It's a nice spot to

take a picnic lunch, too.
