The house is actually built as a regular house with bricks to allow for warmth, but cladded with mabati (iron sheets) to allow for the ‘container/shed’ feel.

 

This unique style of building is not only unique to Kenya, but unique to the world. You need to try out this rare gem.

 

Ben, the host, went for a whole new theme for the overall design of the home with black painted walls and tiles, an entirely black bathroom with wooden finishes carried throughout.
